Recent Success Story
On April 24, 2024, A Criminal Investigations Lieutenant was on their way to work when they received a Hotlist hit in reference to a missing elderly female. The elderly female had been missing since 6 PM of the previous day. The lieutenant noticed that the vehicle was in front of them. They activated their emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The lieutenant approached the vehicle and contacted the driver an elderly female. The female did not know where she was. She stated she was trying to get back to Walton County but did not know how to get there. The lieutenant was able to contact a family member and was able to reconnect the elderly female back with her family. Using Flock Safety, the Barrow County Sheriffs Office was able to help someone in need of help return home to their family. Who knows what would have happened if there were no Flock Safety cameras in the county.
