Recent Success Story
On 3/15/23, an unknown suspect forced entry into Jeffs Quick Stop and stole money out of the cash register. Using flock safety, detectives were able to obtain information on the vehicle being driven by the suspect. The vehicle and the suspect were located within 6 hours of the offense. A confession was obtained and the money stolen from the business was recovered. On 3/21/23, officers received a flock safety alert on a possible stolen license plate. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and upon further investigation, the vehicle was also found to be stolen. The stolen vehicle was recovered, the suspect was taken into custody and found in possession of a loaded syringe containing methamphetamine. On 2/23/23, detectives were assisting Goshen PD with a hit-skip crash where the driver of the crash fled the area and a witness was only able to provide a description of the suspect vehicle. Using flock safety, detectives located the suspect vehicle in question. Contact was made with the suspect operating the vehicle at the time of the crash and he was issued a citation for driving under suspension, assured cleared distance ahead and leaving the scene of an accident.
